How to make a scrapbook
It's quite easy to learn how to make a scrapbook, so easy in fact that children could do it. And they're pretty good at it as well. Plus learning how to do it is a lot of fun.
Scrapbooking can be as simple or as hard as you want it to be, if you keep your mind open to new thoughts you'll be able to make great scrapbooks. But let's look at how we can make a scrapbook.
First we'll need a scrapbook-frame, this can be a photo-album, a photo-frame, a piece of paer or an old book.
It could even be a piece of clothing you can hang out. When you've chosen your scrapbook-frame, you'll want to pick a subject if you haven't thought of one already. And try to choose what way your going to take with your scrapbook.
Will you let your scrapbook be a collection of pictures with some notes next to it or will you let your scrapbook tell a story by using the pictures in a story-telling way? Now you can always change your mind while you're making the scrapbook.
Next you'll want to gather all of your scrapbook material, choose the pictures you're going to use and collect glue for paper, some tape runners, scissors, exacto knives or similar sharp knives to cut the paper. Have a sturdy mat or something similar to use when cutting the paper. That way you won't ruin the table you're working on.
You'll want to get everything together so you won't have to go and look after that scissor or exacto knife.
Get a wooden ruler as well, you can use that when cutting pictures with the exacto knife. This will make crooked lines a thing of the past. You can find layouts online, which will help you in starting your scrapbook, but you're not limited to them by any means. Here's another tip for you, put every picture and item in the right place before you start taping it to the scrapbook-frame.
Next thing you do is set aside a time period in which you'll work on the scrapbook, this will make sure that you can work on it for a while without really having to stop and do other things. The last thing you must do to learn how to make a scrapbook is getting started.
