Scrapbooking supplies
Scrapbooking doesn't require a lot of material but having the right supplies is always a good start.
For scrapbooking you obviously need to have paper, lots of it, both white and coloured paper.
You'll need to have a scrapbook-frame which can be anything from a piece of paper to a photo album, picture frame or an old book.
You can find a lot of the material you need just in the attic or for scrapbooking supplies you don't find lying around in the house you can always stop by your local supermarket or go to a flea market or go search through some garage sales. Or ask friends and relatives if they've got anything you can use. They may want to get rid off it and you may want it. Go look in discount stores, hobby stores and second hand stores for your scrapbooking supplies.
You'll need pictures, and copies of those pictures (just to be safe), and you'll need an exacto knife (or multiple ones) and scissors ofcourse. You'll need tape, glue and tape runner (which is basically the same as tape but it's roll-on tape. A wooden ruler so you can make straight cuts with the exacto knife and a rubber sturdy mat so you don't cut into your table
You're going to need decorations like dried leaves, grass, beads, buttons, etc. You'll want to put those in seperate boxes so that you can stay organised and don't have to work in chaos. Unless you're one of those people who can work better in chaos.
You may need some relaxing music or the music you like, so you can listen to it while you're scrapbooking. This can help you to further relax and enjoy the whole experience of scrapbooking all together. Make some tea or coffee whichever you prefer before you get started. Turn off the tv and radio if you can, don't think about household chores or anything. Just focus on the task at hand. The scrapbook.
One final optional ingredient for scrapbooking would be friends and/ or family. Scrapbooking with your children for example can be a really fun evening activity. It sure is better for their development then tv. This last ingredient, company, can really make the difference between a fun and great scrapbooking session or a boring and dull scrapbooking session.
